Q) I just read in a DWG from AutoCAD that had contours in it. The contours appear in the bitmap preview but after I open the DWG in MSCAD the contours are not there. Where did the go?

A) Some program add-ons to AutoCAD have the ability to draw contours using a SPLINE or other user defined entity. MSCAD does not have an equivalent for these so we can not read them in. We suggest you ask your source to generate the contours as normal polylines instead, and we can then read them in just fine.
