Step 1: Install FieldGenius Activesync Support Module.

This small installation will add a module to Microsoft Activesync that allows it to easily communicate with the FieldGenius on your Windows CE device. This installation is in the form of a simple integrated installation.

Install Activesync Support Module as a one-click or as a single EXE file here.

Step 2: Install FieldGenius.

There are two basic types of installations of FieldGenius depending upon the operating system in your device.

Windows 3.0 device or a Pocket PC device: you can use a special "one-click" install. The one-click install will download and install the software onto your device in one pass. When you select a link below, it will start the one-click install.
Windows CE.NET device: you need to download a zip file containing a "CAB" file (or cabinet file). You need to unzip the CAB file and copy it to your Windows CE device. Then double tap the CAB file on your device to start the installation. The CAB files we create are designed to automatically install into the correct location on your device. For example, on a RECON it will install to "Built-in Storage". On a Ranger.net device it will install to "Disk". On the Tracker it will install to "SystemCF".

	MicroSurvey Tracker The Tracker is a Windows CE.NET device.	1. To install on the Tracker, download the installation CAB file from this link. The CAB file is in the zip file. 2. Unzip the file and copy the CAB file to the SystemCF area on the Tracker. 3. Double tap the CAB file on the Tracker and the software will automatically install onto the Tracker. 4. Please accept the default installation location of \SystemCF. The installer will automatically create the necessary directories for the programs, help, mapping files, and project files or... Installing an Upgrade you will see the two additional prompts: 1. If re-installing, you will be prompted whether you wish to re-install. Please answer Yes. 2. You will then be prompted if you wish to install to the \SystemCF\MicroSurvey FieldGenius directory. Please press the Ok button at the top right corner of the dialog.
	FieldGenius for Allegro
	FieldGenius for Pocket PC 2000-2003 (3150/3600/3800/3950/ 2210/2215/5450/5550/ Dell/ RECON/Other Pocket PC devices ) (but NOT Panasonic Pocket PC)	The PocketPC installation is very popular, so we are also providing the installation as a single EXE file that you can download and run. 	FieldGenius for Panasonic Toughbook 01 with either Windows CE (Start button at bottom) or Pansonic with PocketPC 2002 (Start button at top) Important Note: Older Panasonics running Windows CE 3.0 (start button at bottom) must have ROM version V1.00L21E installed to run FG2004. Check the ROM version under Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> Settings -> Version	The Toughbook installation is very popular, so we are also providing the installation as a single EXE file that you can download and run. 	FieldGenius 2004 Emulator / Desktop /Tablet PC Version -No Windows CE Device Required. This version will drive your Total Station or GPS equipment! Run FieldGenius on a Tablet PC and collect data in the field. Note: this version can be licensed at the same prices as the Windows CE version. It is a fully functional Laptop or Tablet PC product that allows you to hook up your computer to a total station or GPS equipment and collect data or stake out points. 	Datum Grid Editor - 110 Megabytes (now you know why you got that high speed connection! This program is used to create a subset of the Geodetic Data files. These files are very large, so we created this utility to extract a subset. This subset is then copied onto your Data Collector in the following directory: MicroSurvey FieldGenius\Programs\Mapping
