Quick Update
If you have FieldGenius 2006 installed, you can quickly update it to the current version by downloading a zip file. The zip file contains the main program file for FieldGenius and all you need to do is manually copy it to your data collector.

Step
1: Un-Install FieldGenius Activesync Support Module.
Note: Do NOT un-install Activesync itself.
Our new MicroSurvey Transfer program still uses Activesync, but we no longer install any components into the Activesync program. Transfer allows you to easily transfer projects to and from your computer to FieldGenius
on your Windows CE device.
Step 2: Install MicroSurvey Transfer
The New MicroSurvey Transfer program is designed to make file transfers with FieldGenius much easier than previous solutions. Install MicroSurvey Transfer before updating your FieldGenius.

3: Install FieldGenius.
There
are two methods available to install FieldGenius on your handheld computer. You can install FieldGenius using the CD that was provided to you, or you can download a version to your computer and run the install from there.
The installs available from our website are single exe files that can be downloaded and executed from your desktop computer.
Before installing FieldGenius 2006, please make sure you read the upgrade document provided at the top of this page.

MicroSurvey Tracker
There are two versions of FieldGenius 2006 for the Tracker. Standard Keypad
You have a standard keypad if you have an ESC key in the lower right corner of your keypad. The picture to the left has a standard keypad. Download Single EXE

You have a customized keypad if you have a Back Space key in the lower right corner of your keypad.

Allegro CE
The installation Allegro CE is in two parts. The Standard/Advanced/Robotics module must be installed. The GPS Module files are only necessary if you want the Datums & Coordinate systems installed.
This install will work with both the Allegro CE, and the Allegro CE.Net version.
