ESEL (Erase SELected)

ESEL, is a command that few even know exists. What is ESEL? ESEL is a command that Erases SELected items from the drawing. You pick on a specific item, such as a polyline, and the command will automatically erase ALL polylines on the same layer that the selected item was on. It does not touch anything else on that same layer and does not touch polylines on any other layer. It is handy to help clean up a drawing.

• ESEL can be typed at the command prompt in the following programs: MSCAD2002, MapScenes Pro, InCAD 14.01 to 2002 inclusive.

• ESEL can also be found under the following menu in MSCAD2002 and InCAD 14.01 to 2002 inclusive: Modeling -> Utilities -> General Utilities -> Erase Selected.

• You can also setup an Alias or desktop button to run ESEL, if desired.
