Windows 2000/XP Pro
and User Network Settings to run MSCAD2002/2004
When I log into my computer as the Administrator,
everything works perfectly. When I log in as
a normal user I get some strange errors and messages.
Q) What is required to run MSCAD 2002/MSCAD
2004 on a Windows XP Pro network as a normal user?
A) There are several things that must be set
correctly to allow the program to run in either DEMO mode
or as a Fully Authorized copy.
The following files and folders need to have "full
control and access" set for each user.
1) The \WINDOWS or \WINNT folder.
2) The \MSCAD2002 or \MSCAD2004 folder and everything
under it.
3) The \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder (which is normally
set this way anyway)
4) What ever location the user will be saving their
data and jobs.
Q) How do I set the files and folders to allow
the user full control?

you how to Modifying User Permissions for the Folders. The
other folders will use the same process.

work correctly.
