Following the success of last year’s sessions, I’m delighted to announce that we’re bringing our STAR*NET Training Courses back to the Hexagon office in Cobham this June with an exciting addition for 2026!
SCCS Training

This year’s training will once again be delivered by James Johnston, Support & Training Manager at MicroSurvey part of Hexagon, and we’re also pleased to welcome a very special guest: Kiera Fulton, Product Manager for STAR*NET. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain insights directly from the people shaping the software used across the surveying and geospatial industry.

📅 Training Dates:
🔹 Session 1: 22 and 23 June
🔹 Session 2: 24 and 25 June
📍 Location: Hexagon Office, Cobham

These intensive two-day hands-on courses are designed for surveyors and geospatial professionals looking to strengthen their understanding of least squares adjustments and maximise the value of their survey data.

What the course covers:
✔️ Configuring STARNET for different survey equipment and workflows
✔️ Processing levelling, TPS, and GNSS data
✔️ Building and managing least squares adjustment projects
✔️ Understanding and interpreting adjustment results
✔️ Data conversion and import workflows, including Leica sensor integration
✔️ Troubleshooting common field and processing challenges
✔️ Combining multiple data sources into a single balanced network
✔️ Exploring the latest STARNET features and best practices

Whether you’re relatively new to STAR*NET or looking to refine your existing workflows, these sessions provide practical knowledge you can immediately apply to real-world projects.
